I haven’t been able to post any report due to being in the hospital . I had my appendix removed Friday after a great day of fishing with Mr Denise and Mrs Debbie. I got released last night . A very good friend of mine Capt Roy has been covering for me and has been doing well . Ill be back on the water soon and will have more reports on Capt Roy and my progress later in the week.

4-1-12 Weltch Family Fishing In New Orleans And Catching Reds.

Saturday I had the pleasure of fishing with the Welch Family from Mississippi . Mr Wendel wanted to take his family on a fishing trip to enjoy the day on the water ,and that’s just what we did. With fish biting at just about every spot we stopped .It wasn’t long before the first line screamer was on a good 8lb red but wasn’t top dog for long . We ended up landing 5 big reds with the biggest being 14lb . 21 fish all together with a mixed bag of fish that we kept had a lot of throw backs that were just undersized. My trip got cancelled due to weather yesterday But I was woken today by a call from a friend who needed a boat . We didn’t leave the dock till 9 due to rain then spent the rest of the day running from rain. but we caught a box full of reds . I wasn’t expecting to fish today but I was glad I did . Good Ole boys from Tennessee stuck it out and did what they came to do. CATCH FISH . I’m back on the water tomorrow evening with the Arkansas crew always a fun weekend when they come in.

Let me share some of the fun we’re having here at one of the best Louisiana fishing charters…

OK here we are 2012. WOW!! Hope every one had a wonderful Holiday and a great New Year. Down here in South Louisiana we don’t usually get a long winter. But this year it’s like no winter at all a few cold days here and there but for the most part its been really nice. With nice weather you get nice fish . I fished a couple days ago with a friend and caught some nice reds. Lafitte fishing is some of the best fishing in south Louisiana from the hard fighting red fish to the paper mouth speckled trout . we are catching fish and gearing up for the spring fishing . I’ve been booking trips so don’t miss out this year on the dates you want, give me a call and let go fishing. If this year is anything like last year we are gonna have a good time and I cant wait to see old friends and make some new ones.

APRIL 15,2011 FISHING IN LAFITTE

OK I have been a little busy here and haven’t been able to keep up with my reports so I’m gonna give ya a run down of whats been going on.Ive been fishing a bunch with new and repeate customers. The fishing has been good weather permitting . The wind mostly seems like the wind just don’t wanna stop ,but we have been still able to catch some nice specks and reds . I wanna thank Mrs Nikki, Mr, Ted ,and Mr Jeff for the fun day of fishing on 4/3/11. Mr Nick ,Mrs. Dee, and Mr Steve on 4/7/11. Ean , Lowe, and Brett on 4/8/11. Mrs. Star, Mrs Angie ,Mr. Trent , and Mr. Tray from Slidell on 4/9/11 and KC, Josh, JT ,and Dough on 4/10/11. Sorry this report isn’t in detail like I usually do . The trout have been in the 16-20″ range and the reds have been 16-27″range we have been fishing in the bays , lakes and canals . I haven’t been able to get out to the pass for the big bull reds lately due to the wind but I am looking forward to getting back out there and hearing the drag scream .
