NEW ORLEANS FISHING 2012

OK here we are 2012 . WOW!! Hope every one had a wonderful Holidays and a great New Year. Down here in South Louisiana we don’t usually get a long winter . But this year its like no winter at all a few cold days here and there but for the most part its been really nice. With nice weather you get nice fish . I fished a couple days ago with a friend and caught some nice reds . Lafitte fishing is some of the best fishing in south Louisiana from the hard fighting red fish to the paper mouth speckled trout . we are catching fish and gearing up for the spring fishing . I’ve been booking trips so don’t miss out this year on the dates you want, give me a call and let go fishing. APRIL 15,2011 FISHING IN LAFITTE

OK I have been a little busy here and haven’t been able to keep up with my reports so I’m gonna give ya a run down of whats been going on.Ive been fishing a bunch with new and repeate customers. The fishing has been good weather permitting . The wind mostly seems like the wind just don’t wanna stop ,but we have been still able to catch some nice specks and reds . I wanna thank Mrs Nikki, Mr, Ted ,and Mr Jeff for the fun day of fishing on 4/3/11. Mr Nick ,Mrs. Dee, and Mr Steve on 4/7/11. Ean , Lowe, and Brett on 4/8/11. Mrs. Star, Mrs Angie ,Mr. Trent , and Mr. Tray from Slidell on 4/9/11 and KC, Josh, JT ,and Dough on 4/10/11. Sorry this report isn’t in detail like I usually do . The trout have been in the 16-20″ range and the reds have been 16-27″range we have been fishing in the bays , lakes and canals . I haven’t been able to get out to the pass for the big bull reds lately due to the wind but I am looking forward to getting back out there and hearing the drag scream . 3/26/2011 WINDY AND ROUGH IN LAFITTE

Well today was one of the days that no one wants to see when its time to go fishing . The wind was blowing from the South West at 20-25mph and rough. I had Mr Dan and Mr. Russ in from North Louisiana . It was to rough to go out to where I have been catching the big fish so we hit the banks of the bays that we could and the Bayous that were calm. The wind had everything turned up and muddy. I was in touch with a few friends who also guide to see how everybody was doing and it seemed to be tough all around with the conditions. After fishing what seemed to be 100 spots and crossing some rough waters we picked up a mixed bag of fish for 11 fish . I’m not gonna sugar coat it , it was a rough day of fishing but we had a good time and caught some fish. Not every day can be a good day . (wouldn’t that be nice). I’m back on the water Monday the weather looks like its gonna be better so we ought to go fishing. 3/25/2011 FISH ON – FISH ON

Today was an awesome day of fishing . I had Mrs Cathy, Mr. Rick, Mr. Tom ,and Mr Jerry from Missouri . They were in town on vacation and wanted to catch some big fish . I took them down to the pass to see if the big bull reds and bull drum were there. Not only were they there they were on fire . By the time I got the last pole baited and in the water I heard FISH ON, and that’s all I heard all day . They caught around 40 fish total of big bull reds 20-33# and big drum 15-27# . It was one of those non stop days and fun this crew love to fish and it showed . Thanks guys for the fun day of fishing . The weather was nice and sunny with a light breeze from the SE . 3/23/2011 MIXED BAG OF FISH IN LAFITTE

Today I fished with Mr. Albert, Mr. Elvis ,and Mr. Woods from Alabama. The guys wanted to catch some fish to fry up , so we stayed in the bays and bayous today. The weather was nice with 15 mph winds out of the SW. We fished around and found a mix bag of fish with , reds ,drum and flounder 12 fish in all. All fish were caught with market shrimp on the bottom . The wind had the water all muddy but fish cant seem to resist good fresh shrimp. Im back on the water again Friday . 3/20/2011 Southeast Louisiana Bull reds

Today was a really good fishing trip .Not because the fish bit any different from the last few days ,but cause I had some friends in town that I haven’t seen in a few years . Trey and Marty flew in from Texas to spend the weekend with friends and family. Their dad EJ and brother in law George came fishing with us as well. With the weather as nice as it was ,the fish biting like the local mosquitoes at dark ,and fishing with friends the day couldn’t have gone any better . We caught 20 BIG BULL REDS and just a couple of drum . Fishing with cracked crabs on bottom in the Grand Isle pass . After a good day of fishing and catching up on thing we headed back to Mr. Ej’s place where we had Bar-b-Que and some more laughs . It was nice to have old friend in town and enjoying the day on the water together . I have a few days off this week but will be back on the water come friday and I’ will let ya know how we make out . 3/18/2011 Locals Enjoy Fishing To

Some locals from New Orleans decided that they wanted to come and catch some fish and that they did . I had Mr.Dale ,Mr. Dave , Mr. Mel , and Mr. Sam fishing today . These guys have been friend for a long time and they weren’t giving each other any slack . We laughed as hard as the red fish were fighting . All in fun .The day went by fast with all the laughing and fish biting all day. I always give the customers the option to go fish the big fish in the pass or the smaller ones in the inside and 9x out of 10 they want to catch big fish . The big bull reds and bull drum have been pretty thick . In the inland waters the fish have been biting pretty good as well with red fish ,drum, flounder and speckle trout. The weather has been really nice I wish it would stay this way year round. I have been booking trip every week so don’t miss out book your trip today and COME FISH A NAWLINS GOOD TIME
