Its been a fun week . I fished every day but wed and have been catching limits of 17-22′ red fish . We have been fishing some shallow ponds in the marsh most of the week due to the wind . Other than a lil wind some days the weather has been perfect and the fish have been frisky. I had the pleasure of enjoying these good fishing trips with Mr. Bill ,Ashton and Drew from Tennessee . Mr. John ,Randy , Dwayne and Anthony from Mississippi. Mr Bill , Mr Scott, and Tuff from Boston. Mr William , Mr Jim , and Greg from Arkansas and an old friend that I haven’t seen in a while Victor and his wife Nicky . I had a blast and Thank you . Its been a while since I last posted a report and I’m sorry for that . I have been fishing quite a bit . We had a lil down time with Tropical Storm Lee pushing some water up and flooding the town I live in . Not a lot of water but just enough to flood the streets in the low areas. If you have never fished down here in south Louisiana after a hurricane or tropical storm you don’t know what your missing. The storms push salt water in and turns up the gulf so the fish push into the inland waters that we fish and its non stop action. The red fish have been schooled up and they are nice ones between 20-27″ The weather has taken a turn for the better the humidity is dropping and so has the temp. 8-4-2011 RED FISH IN THE BAYOUS AND MARSH OF LAFITTE,LA

The fish have moved out of the big lakes and bays and are in the marshes and bayous of Lafitte , Louisiana . I fished Wednesday of last week , Saturday , Sunday 2 boats and yesterday. I have been having some really fun customers and exciting fishing trips . We have been fishing in shallow water ponds with gold weedless spoons and catching good numbers of red fish. The bite has been early but we still catch fish through out the day . August is here and the heat has set in . As long as there is a light breeze or a lil cloud cover its comfortable . The trout have moved out of the area but they will be back soon . Thanks to every one who has fished with me in the past week and I’m looking forward to fishing with the customers I have in the books for the up and coming trips.

I have been fishing a bunch since my last report . It just gets a lil rough to get to the computer at times . We have been catching some good numbers and size specks . Some days are better than others .The red fish are biting as well we may have to look around a lil but once ya find em the action is on. The weather has been cooperative at times . We been having some evening showers but for the most part its been comfortable fishing weather. Its been a busy week of fishing for me .Ive been on the water 6 out of the last 9 days and the fish have been biting. Catching good number of reds and specks . The reds have been in the average of 16-22 ” with some coming in over 25″ . The specks have been 12-18 ” fish and have been catching 50 -100 in a lil while . I have a couple days off as of right now but all that can change with a phone call or 2. 6-26-11 RED FISH AND SPECKLE TROUT IN LAFITTE LOUISIANA

This weekend has been action packed down in south Louisiana . I fished Mr. Jordan, Mr. Levi , and Mr Tracy from Baton Rouge . It was a good day of fishing nothing hot and heavy but steady . We had a few t-storms most of the day but it didn’t stop these guys from wanting to keep going . Just rain no lightening . We ended the day with 12 reds 9 drum and 2 flounders. Saturday I had the pleasure in helping a friend with a trip that was a bachelor party . These are always fun . Blake , RW, and Brody from Texas had the time of their lives . We got on the water and the winds were calm and the trout were biting. After a fun of day of fishing we cleaned 85 trout. These guys knew how to fish and have a good time. Today I fished Mr. Louis his wife Andrea , son Manny and Dad Mr. Louis winds were calm and the trout were biting but not like the day before. we boxed 31 trout 4 reds and a drum . I enjoyed fishing with everybody its always a new adventure every trip out. Thanks guys . 6-22-2011 FED EX from Tenn

Monday I had the pleasure of fishing with some guys that work for FED EX in Tenn . It started off to be a rough morning when I woke with a stomach bug . Not being able to find anyone in such short notice I had to go or cancel . I dont like to cancel . I made the call and off to catch some fish we went. With the full moon being up all night the fish were a lil sluggish in the morning . I made some tackle changes and it made the difference. Ended the day with 14- reds , 12 drum , a trout , and a flounder in the box to take back to Tenn. Mr Charles , Mr Chuck ,Jr and Mr Scott loved to fish and do some competitive joking around . Thanks guys for the fun day on the water . The weather was nice a lil breezy but it kept the temps comfortable. I’m back on the water Friday . I have to catch up on the last week or so of my fishing reports . Its been hard to get to the computer to do em, been fishing so much. The fishing has been good very good . We have been catching limits of reds and some specks when the conditions allow. Here in the last week we have been catching a bunch of specks. The wind has been calm in the morning and you can see the shrimp jumping and the birds diving . SPECKS are there. The red fish have been very good as well . It could be the first spot or have to move around a little to find em but once ya do they are schooled up. The red fish have been in the 16- 29″ range and the specks 12- 20″. I have a couple days off then back on the water . I wanna thank everybody for the fun times I have been having on the water with y’all . 5-19-2011 NO FLOOD WATER HERE !!!

Been having some computer problems so I haven’t been able to get my reports out but I have been fishing and catching reds and some specks . we have been having a crazy May with 2 cold fronts blowing threw so far . But we have been able to get on some nice fish. Everyday is different some days they come fast and some we have to work for em but at the end we always have a mess of fish in the box. Booking has slowed some and I’m guessing its from the news of the Mississippi River being at its flood stage. We are not effected by this . Just yesterday I couldn’t get into a pond I like to fish cause the water was so low from the cold front that blew for 2days. The media always reports the worst of things . I’m back on the water tomorrow Its May and the fish are on and the weather has been nice. COME FISH A NAWLINS GOOD TIME.

APRIL 15,2011 FISHING IN LAFITTE

OK I have been a little busy here and haven’t been able to keep up with my reports so I’m gonna give ya a run down of whats been going on.Ive been fishing a bunch with new and repeate customers. The fishing has been good weather permitting . The wind mostly seems like the wind just don’t wanna stop ,but we have been still able to catch some nice specks and reds . I wanna thank Mrs Nikki, Mr, Ted ,and Mr Jeff for the fun day of fishing on 4/3/11. Mr Nick ,Mrs. Dee, and Mr Steve on 4/7/11. Ean , Lowe, and Brett on 4/8/11. Mrs. Star, Mrs Angie ,Mr. Trent , and Mr. Tray from Slidell on 4/9/11 and KC, Josh, JT ,and Dough on 4/10/11. Sorry this report isn’t in detail like I usually do . The trout have been in the 16-20″ range and the reds have been 16-27″range we have been fishing in the bays , lakes and canals . I haven’t been able to get out to the pass for the big bull reds lately due to the wind but I am looking forward to getting back out there and hearing the drag scream .
