Some good old fashioned New Orleans fishing was just what I had in mind when I woke up today!

This morning was a good one. Left the house around 6:30, took a ride and got on some trout. Nice trout before I knew it I had my limit and it was only 9.25 trout all around 15″-17″ fishing tight line. I tried with the cork, no luck. The weather this morning was windy and cool with a cold front approaching. By the time I got finished cleaning fish, the clouds had moved in and the rain came an hour later . Let me share some of the fun we’re having here at one of the best Louisiana fishing charters…

OK here we are 2012. WOW!! Hope every one had a wonderful Holiday and a great New Year. Down here in South Louisiana we don’t usually get a long winter. But this year it’s like no winter at all a few cold days here and there but for the most part its been really nice. With nice weather you get nice fish . I fished a couple days ago with a friend and caught some nice reds. Lafitte fishing is some of the best fishing in south Louisiana from the hard fighting red fish to the paper mouth speckled trout . we are catching fish and gearing up for the spring fishing . I’ve been booking trips so don’t miss out this year on the dates you want, give me a call and let go fishing. I had a good week of fishing. The temps have been down and the red fish have been biting like crazy. The fish we caught have been very healthy and plump with their bellies full and still feeding. They have been averaging from 18″-22″ with the occasional 27-30 “ The trout have started to show up not a lot but a few. It wont be long and we will start catching them pretty good. Even tho we had a pretty good front blow threw and winds out the north all week the fish have been biting good enough to come in with limits of them. Its been a fun week . I fished every day but wed and have been catching limits of 17-22′ red fish . We have been fishing some shallow ponds in the marsh most of the week due to the wind . Other than a lil wind some days the weather has been perfect and the fish have been frisky. I had the pleasure of enjoying these good fishing trips with Mr. Bill ,Ashton and Drew from Tennessee . Mr. John, Randy, Dwayne and Anthony from Mississippi. Mr Bill , Mr Scott, and Tuff from Boston. Mr William, Mr Jim, and Greg from Arkansas and an old friend that I haven’t seen in a while Victor and his wife Nicky . I had a blast and Thank you . 6-26-11 RED FISH AND SPECKLE TROUT IN LAFITTE LOUISIANA

This weekend has been action packed down in south Louisiana . I fished Mr. Jordan, Mr. Levi , and Mr Tracy from Baton Rouge . It was a good day of fishing nothing hot and heavy but steady . We had a few t-storms most of the day but it didn’t stop these guys from wanting to keep going . Just rain no lightening . We ended the day with 12 reds 9 drum and 2 flounders. Saturday I had the pleasure in helping a friend with a trip that was a bachelor party . These are always fun . Blake , RW, and Brody from Texas had the time of their lives . We got on the water and the winds were calm and the trout were biting. After a fun of day of fishing we cleaned 85 trout. These guys knew how to fish and have a good time. Today I fished Mr. Louis his wife Andrea , son Manny and Dad Mr. Louis winds were calm and the trout were biting but not like the day before. we boxed 31 trout 4 reds and a drum . I enjoyed fishing with everybody its always a new adventure every trip out. Thanks guys . 6-22-2011 FED EX from Tenn

Monday I had the pleasure of fishing with some guys that work for FED EX in Tenn . It started off to be a rough morning when I woke with a stomach bug . Not being able to find anyone in such short notice I had to go or cancel . I dont like to cancel . I made the call and off to catch some fish we went. With the full moon being up all night the fish were a lil sluggish in the morning . I made some tackle changes and it made the difference. Ended the day with 14- reds , 12 drum , a trout , and a flounder in the box to take back to Tenn. Mr Charles , Mr Chuck ,Jr and Mr Scott loved to fish and do some competitive joking around . Thanks guys for the fun day on the water . The weather was nice a lil breezy but it kept the temps comfortable. I’m back on the water Friday . We are still not effected by the high river in our fishing or living. NO FLOODING going on here. I have been fishing a few times this week . Seems like the wind still wont give us a break but we have been putting a mess of fish in the box. Red fish, drum and flounder..I fished Mr. Ray , Mr.Larry and Mr. Pushpaw who were in for a conventin 5/18/2011 . Lauren, Kristy , Chris , and Bryan from FL 5/20/2011 what a fun trip that was . Thanks guys . Cathy , Pealard , and Mr.Mac fished with me 5/22/2011 their some locals who like to fish and have a good time and that we did . On each trip the average has been 12-20 reds and 5-10 drum with your occasional flounder or two.Thanks guys for the fun days of fishing . Fishing has been good, weather has been tolerable . Its May and the fishing just gets better from here . 5/3/2011 FISHING SOUTH LOUISIANA RED FISH IN LAFITTE

Well the fishing has been good and the wind is up and down. We have been fighting the wind for the last 3 weeks but have been catching some good fish . reds and drum mostly with some trout when the water isn’t muddy. I have been fishing mostly with market shrimp due to the wind and water color but they have been producing some good numbers in fish . On average we have been coming back with 15-20 fish mostly reds . I wanna thank Mr . Aurthur his wife Nan and son Adler from New Orleans 4/25. Al , Rob , Leif , and Brett from Alberta, Canada 4-26. Mr & Mrs Crosby and son Mark from Arizona 4/29. Maxis, Eddie, Louis , Rick , and Morse from Atlanta, GGeorgia 5/2 . and Mr. Don , Mr. Dave, and Mr. Sam from Michigan 5/3. As usual it has been a fun week of fishing with lots of action . The month of May is looking good for fishing I have been booking some trips and the book is filling up .
