April fishing for red fish and speckle trout has been good. This time of year the fishing is always excellent with the weather being pleasurable and fish are cooperative.
With the Covid-19 pandemic disrupting everyone’s normal life I hope y’all are staying safe and healthy. I have been running a couple trips with some repeat locals and a few with my wife and son. Taking all precautions to keep everyone safe but having a great day on the water as well.
The specks have been in some of our smaller bays and biting on soft plastics under a popping cork. As for the red fish we have been catching a few working the banks with shrimp under a popping cork or swimming soft plastics has been productive as well .
I will be running trips as long as they allow me to , as of now the government has deemed my business as an essential business and we can conduct business as normal . I pray that everyone can stay safe and healthy through these times and I look forward to fishing with everyone soon.
