Yesterday I had the pleasure of guiding an Ohio couple on their first New Orleans fishing charter. The weather was spotty showers and the bite was a bit sluggish at first. After a little moving around I had the Ohio couple reeling in reds in no time.
Fishing with shrimp under a popping cork , trolling the bank was the effective means of catching these hard fighting reds on this trip . It was lots of action once the tide started to move . We were able to stay dry throughout the spotty showers as well as catching a couple bonus specks and a lonely sheephead.
The day was a success with everyone having a great time catching their share of fish. Thanks again for coming out fishing with me . I look forward to fishing with yall again someday.
